About the role

There is an amazing opportunity to work within our new Cultural and Community Hub team, delivering support to all functions and events across a range of community facilities and cultural venues.

The Venue Experience Officer will work within the Venue Experience team, within the Creative and Engaged City Department.

Your primary purpose in this position is to provide high-quality function and customer service, within the Cultural and Community Hubs team.

The role involves:

  • focuses on creating a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors and customers
  • ensuring that each interaction contributes to an excellent customer experience
  • managing front-of-house operations
  • delivery of event and function operations
  • supporting the execution of events, functions and exhibitions.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding.

Previous experience in customer service, event support or front-of-house operations. Strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
