About the role

As the Ticketing and Customer Data Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient operation of ticketing and data management across Creative and Engaged City programs, including Drum Theatre and other cultural and community venues.

In this dynamic position, you will:

  • Oversee reception and box office operations, ensuring a high-quality customer experience for hirers, patrons, and visitors.
  • Manage ticketing systems and customer databases, ensuring seamless booking processes and data integrity.
  • Collect and analyse customer data to identify trends, enhance service delivery, and inform marketing strategies.
  • Provide financial reporting and support budget management for ticketing services.
  • Supervise the Ticketing Officer, supporting their professional development and maintaining team excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive venue utilisation and enhance audience engagement.

Your contribution will directly impact the success of cultural and community programs, driving sales and promoting the city’s vibrant cultural offerings.


About you

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ticketing system, and customer data collection.

To excel in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in box office, ticketing systems, or customer service, preferably in a cultural or community venue setting.
  • Strong skills in data management and analysis, with the ability to interpret insights to improve operations and marketing outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including patrons, hirers, and team members.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • A customer-focused approach, with a passion for delivering outstanding service and enhancing audience experiences.
  • Experience with cash management and financial reporting.
  • A proactive attitude and creative problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
