About the role
Key responsibilities include managing compliance and quality assurance processes, developing a sustainable business and marketing strategy, and advocating for flexible, community-focused childcare models across the municipality. The role also contributes to broader children's services strategic planning, including implementation of the Children’s Plan and engagement in continuous service improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will foster partnerships within the FDC sector and work collaboratively to enhance access, quality, and innovation in early childhood education.
What we are looking for:
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Family Day Care (FDC) scheme, ensuring delivery of a high-quality service aligned with professional standards and legislative requirements. The position provides strategic and operational leadership to the FDC team and supports external educators to deliver responsive, home-based childcare.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the below:

- Degree or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood or Child Care with substantial experience working with families in providing quality family day care services.
Key responsibilities include:
