About the Role

Come and join us in the foodie capital of Melbourne. Greater Dandenong is a vibrant, wonderful municipality and our Council colleagues are deeply committed to making a difference and serving the local community. Our Comms & Engagement team is supportive and fun.

With several reports, this is a leadership position with responsibility for providing strategic leadership of our digital channels, with a direct focus on our several web and intranet sites.

You’ll have colleagues to take the reins on social media and content creation, but we’re looking for someone who will take our Drupal sites up to the next level to support a great customer experience


About You

You’ll be an experienced digital comms professional with exceptional writing for web, good judgment and excellent project management skills. You’ll be friendly and build your network across Council quickly. You’ll have a passion for data and look for the insights about what it’s telling us, and make recommendations about what we should do next. A willingness to turn your hand to web updates, social media posts, EDMs, creating reels and other content will also be well regarded.
