A great opportunity now exists for a leader to take the helm as Coordinator Organisational Development within the City of Greater Dandenong to manage a diverse portfolio encompassing Industrial and Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, Policy Development, Organisational wide People and Culture Strategy and Projects. Reporting into the Manager People & Change, this key position will collaborate with a newly formed executive team and leaders in the organisation to provide high level strategic and operational advice.

The Successful Candidate will:

  • Lead the organisational development team to deliver high quality and effective people services to Council
  • Contribute to the development of integrated sustainable business practices through innovative and flexible development of contemporary Human Resources Management Strategies
  • Champion organisational change opportunities that have a strategic and operational focus to assist the shaping of corporate strategy
  • Design and execute initiatives to promote employee engagement, recognition, and wellness, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment

Having a proven track record in Human Resources, with a preference for experience within large, complex organisations, you will have a deep understanding of Human Resource best practices, processes, and compliance standards. Your exceptional ability to identify opportunities to enhance organisational effectiveness and employment engagement, coupled with your ability to foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation, will enhance your success in this role. Adept at thriving in fast-paced environments, both independently and as part of a cohesive team, you will have the drive and motivation to make a real difference.
