About the Role

What we are looking for: 

  • People who are looking for work during school hours and who are committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of older people to support them to continue living at home.
  • Must have a Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent and be available to work 3 days per week between Monday - Friday
  • The ability to speak Cantonese, Cambodian, Vietnamese or other non-English speaking languages will be reviewed favourably.
  • Must have a Victorian Driver’s License and use of own vehicle.
  • Have the capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role, including vacuuming, mopping and other light household tasks.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will be committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of older residents. You will enjoy supporting and communicating with people over the age of 65 with personal care, home care, social support and respite to enable them to maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes.

You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check, current Victorian Drivers Licence, and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
