About the Role

An exciting opportunity to work in our Community Amenity Administration Team as an Administration Officer – Internal Reviews. The role sits within a multi-disciplinary and dynamic team, which provides support to the wider Community Amenity department.Your primary purpose in this position is to:

We are seeking a dedicated person who will use their excellent judgement, and legislative knowledge and experience to consider each infringement case on its own merit. You will be required to be transparent in your undertakings and be able to make fair and equitable decisions relating to infringement appeals whilst adhering to the required legal processes and practices.

This can include infringement notices issued in relation to: Parking, Animal, Planning and Environment, Littering, Public Health, Building, and Local Law related offences. The role also requires carrying out any administrative processes associated with the infringement review process.


About You

  • Certificate in Business Management, or equivalent work experience in exercising appropriate discretion with regards to Acts and legislation, Acts or local laws, or proven ability to quickly develop the knowledge required.
  • Have attention to detail and have excellent time management skills in order to meet strict legislative deadlines.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively responding to members of the public from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
  • Remain impartial and transparent when dealing with customers around decision making and processes.
