About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity within our Digital Technology team for a Business Analyst. This role sits within our forward-thinking organisation dedicated to enhancing our digital presence and operational efficiency. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving our digital transformation initiatives and ensuring the seamless operation of our core information systems. You will work across various projects, supporting the team in analysing business requirements, developing solutions, and maintaining system integrity. Your efforts will ensure that our digital initiatives align with the latest industry standards and organisational goals.Collaborate with departments to gather and define business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and support Council’s Core Information Systems and upgrades.
· Provide technical support and promote productive use of Information Systems.
· Review business processes and advise on new or enhanced solutions.
· Assist in the investigation, specification, and implementation of new initiatives.
· Utilise data analysis to inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and develop test plans.
· Liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate system changes.
About You
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and strong technical knowledge, including business analysis, data management, and information systems. A proactive, solution-oriented team player with previous experience in digital transformation and core information systems is essential. You should be adept at analysing business requirements, developing effective solutions, and maintaining system integrity. Your ability to collaborate across various projects and ensure alignment with organisational goals will be key to your success in this role.
