About the Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Maternal and Child Health, this role is coordinating and delivering the Enhanced Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program, and Sleep and Settling Program within the City of Greater Dandenong. The Team Leader role will work collaborative with the MCH Leadership Team to deliver an effective and responsive MCH service. The Team Leader will work in partnership with external service providers to achieve effective service delivery for the community.

We have a strong Early Years Program that fosters support and integration across services and are working towards increased flexibility within the service through both consultation hours and program expansion.
This Leadership position embodies professionalism and integrity, promoting a customer-centric culture across the MCH service. Additionally, the Team Leader:
- Provides specialist advice and supervision to MCH staff.
- Supports the provision of an assertive MCH Service which includes the Enhanced and Sleep and Settling programs, where families may not be using centre-based services, by proactive engagement with clients to determine most suitable service delivery to maximise accessibility of the MCH service to CGD families.
- Can proactively manage competing demands efficiently and have a passion for community service and development.
- Can demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and diverse opinions.
To be considered for this role, you have essential qualifications in Nursing, Midwifery and post graduate qualifications in MCH and have specialist knowledge and experience working with families with children 0-school age and the Victorian MCH program and Enhanced service.

You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check, current (and ongoing) Victorian Driver Licence and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
