About the role

An opportunity exists for a permanent part time Immunisation Support Officer. The Immunisation service provides immunisation to our general community including weekly childhood immunisation sessions, secondary school based immunisation and some outreach programs.This position is ongoing, with hours rostered across Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays and evening work for immunisation session provision included within (0.8FTE).

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining accurate recording of vaccinations and being knowledgeable of/updating the immunisation schedule on the National Immunisation Program, liaison with schools and general administrative support for the Immunisation team.


About you

Previous work experience in the area of immunisation is desirable, but not essential as on the job training will be provided. 

Strong administrative skills and experience are essential for this position.
