Two opportunities exist within Council’s Festival and Events team for Festival and Events Support Officers. You will be working on Council’s award-winning events program, and also supporting the community’s events, working within a fast paced and deadline driven environment. With current conditions, it combines both working from home and office-based work arrangements. Well-developed communication skills will be highly regarded, along with a ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to work some weekends and evenings for events.

Reporting to the Team Leader Festivals and Events, the role will:

  • Provide administrative and project support for Council-led festivals.
  • Respond to enquiries from internal partners and community event organisers delivering events within the municipality.
  • Assist in distributing promotional material regarding events of all types.
  • Work with other teams across Council to help facilitate high quality events, activities and festivals.
