The Financial Services department is currently seeking a dynamic and qualified Accountant to join us in the role of Coordinator Management Accounting and Systems until October 2022.
This is a key leadership position and the primary objectives are to deliver budgeting and management reporting functions, fixed asset accounting and manage the activities of the Management Accounting team (four staff).
The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong people skills in leading and coordinating a team providing accounting services. The successful applicant will also possess a sound understanding of Accounting principles, Accounting Standards, financial systems, relevant Local Government Act and other legislative provisions. Ideally, we are seeking an enthusiastic qualified Accountant who has excellent attention to detail, highly developed analytical skills, comprehensive computer literacy including exceptional proficiency with spreadsheets.
